History:
The creation of this chair model was strongly inspired by a wooden model made by Joseph Barly Fendy in 1877 and finally manufactured from 1904 onwards. The metal version, designed around 1938, was first produced by Artek-Pascoe, then by Knoll in 1945 for the USA. Airborne, under the direction of Charles Bernard, published it until 1975, on the advice of André Bloc to its director.
