White and yellow gold (750 thousandths) floral brooch with "bow" ends set with round sapphires, brilliant and 8/8 diamonds. Cultured pearl pendant. Eagle head hallmark. Early 20th century style. 2 beak rings (back). Dim: 36 x 33 mm. PB: 5.7 g The ribbon knot (single, double loop, openwork, serrated) was a frequently used theme from the mid-17th century onwards. The "Sévigné knot" with several loops was the most famous.
