Accidental barrette brooch set with a Limoges enamel by J. Batier featuring a woman's profile in yellow gold (750 thousandths) with ivy leaf decoration. Oxidized, missing, enamel with crack. Deformations. Length: 71 mm. PB: 5.2 g Ivy has many meanings, including the symbol of immortality with its evergreen leaves, but also of love and faithful friendship, often wrapped in a garland like the phrase "je meurs ou je m'attache" ("I die or I tie myself").
