Large, flexible "belt" bracelet in yellow gold (750 thousandths) decorated with interlaced wires and bands in matte finish. Flap clasp with V-shaped end. Eagle head hallmarks. Width: 27 mm. Max. length: 20 cm. B.P.: 112.1g Manufacturer's hallmark B and F Belt bracelets first appeared towards the end of the 19th century, enhanced with motifs set with fine half-pearls. Then, in the 1940s/1950s, the great jewelry houses Cartier and Boucheron embellished the ends, buckles and V-shaped ends with diamonds, sapphires, rubies or emeralds. The "ribbon" parts will use either "honeycomb" motifs or woven mesh. Hermès will offer the "belt" model in solid silver.
