AUGIS. Round medal d'Amour ring in yellow gold (750 thousandths) set with imitation red stones enhanced with 2 calibres for the "-" sign and round for the "+" sign with a small diamond. Diameter: 17 mm. Signed A.Augis. Eagle head and maker's hallmarks. Scratches and one stone missing (chip). TDD: 52. PB: 6.3 g In 1907, Alphonse AUGIS (jeweler) designed a medal he christened "la médaille d'amour" (the love medal) based on Edmond Rostand's poem "Plus qu'hier, moins que demain" (More than yesterday, less than tomorrow).
