Parisian artist and sculptor Edmond-Henri Becker (1871-1971) won a gold medal at the Boucheron stand at the Salon des Artistes exhibition in the 1900s. Recognized in France and abroad, in 1903 he founded the Becker firm, famous for its medals depicting children and women. Works are exhibited at the Musée d'Orsay in Paris, the British Museum in London and the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts in the United States.
This medal is still offered by Becker in the Saints of Paradise medal collection.
