AUGIS. Ring centered on a half-moon-set faceted oval sapphire set in yellow gold (750 thousandths) with 6 brilliant-cut diamonds on either side. Eagle head and maker's hallmarks. Width: 7.5 mm. TDD : 53. PB : 4.7 g Observations: Jewel never worn. In 1830, Eugène Coquais opened his store in Lyon, then his daughter married Charles AUGIS (watchmaker). In 1930, grandson Franck AUGIS developed the manufacture of medals as well as jewelry, notably creating the "médaille d'Amour".
