Auvergnat d'Aurillac "Holy Spirit" pendant in yellow gold (750 thousandths) surmounted by 2 coulants on colored pearl technique. The spread wings support 3 pear-shaped pendants adorned with stones with heavy wear. Height with setting: 78mm. PB : 6.4 g This jewel, emblematic of the Auvergne region, features a central motif stylizing a dove, head down, in reference to Christ's baptism, and tassels known as "les larmes du christ" ("Christ's tears"). Brides received it on their wedding day (a sign of the family's wealth), and each time a new baby was born or the family reached a financial milestone, they added a coulant adorned with a stone.
