3 albums: - SERGIUS (J.) - [THELEM]. Messieurs les Anglais. Paris, Delagrave, (1901), oblong large 8vo album, 42 pp. - 1 folio. Publisher’s red cloth binding, gold, black, and red vignette on the cover, gold lettering. — Cover slightly faded, hinges slightly stretched, a tear (no pages missing) repaired with adhesive tape over a 10-cm section on the last leaf. This witty satire of English society is fully illustrated in color. The right-hand pages feature a large illustration, while the left-hand pages contain the text, interspersed with vignettes. Ernest Barthélemy Thélem abandoned veterinary medicine to sketch horses and the world of horse racing. He contributed to several periodicals. (More Than 5,000 Press Cartoonists..., p. 831). The text is by a certain Stern, who wrote under the pseudonym J. Sergius. (Lorenz XIX, p. 629). - MORING (Michel). Nouvelles villageoises. Paris, Marcilly, (1855), quarto album, 3 folios–75 pages–12 two-tone lithographs as inserts.
