Asian art

Driven by the economic development of China and later Vietnam, the Asian art market has established itself today as one of the most dynamic in the world. Works and objects from the Far East — originating from China, Japan, Southeast Asia, or Vietnam — generate strong interest among collectors and frequently achieve record prices at public auctions held in Paris.

Our 2021 result with an exceptional Chinese vase from the Yongle period (1403 - 1424), sold for €3.6 million, is a perfect illustration of this.

The Asian Art department of Maison Courtadon - Thomas collaborates with the prestigious Cabinet Portier in Paris to appraise and sell your Asian art objects.
